FieldNari privacy policy
Effective: 7 September 2026 · Last updated: 7 September 2026
FieldNari is field-service software for trade businesses. This policy covers the FieldNari mobile app and fieldnari.com. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to delete your account and everything in it.
The short version. We collect what the software needs to run your shop — your account details and the jobs, clients, quotes and invoices you put in it. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and there is no advertising or third-party tracking in the app. You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app at any time.
1. Who we are
FieldNari is operated by WebNari LLC, a Florida limited liability company. For anything in this policy, write to privacy@webnari.io.
WebNari also publishes a broader company privacy policy covering our website-building services. Where the two differ for the FieldNari app, this policy governs.
2. Two different relationships
FieldNari holds two kinds of information, and the law treats them differently.
2.1 Your information — we are the controller
Your account, your business details, your billing. We decide how this is handled, and this policy describes it.
2.2 Your customers' information — we are the processor
The clients, jobs, addresses, photos and invoices you enter belong to your business. You decide what goes in and how long it stays. We process it on your instructions to provide the service, and we do not use it for our own purposes. If one of your customers asks us about their data, we refer them to you.
3. What the app collects
3.1 Account information
Your name, email address, business name, phone number, trade, and business logo if you upload one. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address that provider releases to us — including a private relay address if you choose Apple's "Hide My Email".
3.2 Business data you enter
Clients, leads, jobs, quotes, invoices, payments, parts, equipment and vehicle records, scheduled visits, time entries, subcontractor assignments and any notes or photographs you attach. This is your operating data and it is what the product exists to hold.
3.3 Signatures
When a customer approves a quote or signs off on work, we store the drawn signature image and the time it was captured, as the record of that approval.
3.4 Device and diagnostic information
Basic technical information needed to serve the app and keep it secure: IP address, device and operating-system type, app version, and error logs when something fails. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and there is no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
4. Device permissions
iOS asks before granting any of these. The app requests each one only at the moment the feature is used — never on launch — and every one of them is optional. Denying a permission disables that feature and nothing else.
| Permission | When we ask | What we do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | When you take a photo for a job, quote or vehicle | The photo is attached to that record and uploaded to our storage. We never open the camera in the background. |
| Photo library | When you attach an existing photo | Only the images you pick are read and uploaded. We do not scan or index your library. |
| Contacts | Only when you open Import from contacts | Your contacts are read on your device to show you a list to choose from. Only the contacts you tick are sent to our servers and saved as clients. Everyone else stays on your phone. We never read contacts in the background, and we never upload your address book wholesale. |
| Location | Only at the moment you punch in or out on the time clock | A single location reading is taken and stored with that punch, so hours can be tied to a job site. There is no background or continuous location tracking — the app cannot see where you are between punches, and it never requests "Always" location access. |
| Notifications | When you enable alerts | A push token is stored so we can send job and payment notifications to your device. We do not send marketing pushes. |
You can change or revoke any of these at any time in iOS Settings → FieldNari.
5. How we use information
- To provide the service — storing and syncing your records across your devices and your crew.
- To send transactional messages you or your customers trigger: quote approvals, invoice links, receipts, reminders, and account email.
- To process payments you collect, and the subscription you pay us.
- To keep the service secure, diagnose failures and prevent abuse.
- To answer your support requests.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not use your data or your customers' data to train machine-learning models, to build advertising profiles, or for any purpose unrelated to running the service.
6. Who we share information with
We share only with the service providers the product runs on, each under contract and only for the purpose listed:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in for your account and records |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, content delivery, and storage for photos and documents |
| Stripe | Payments — both the money you collect from customers and your subscription |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery |
| Twilio | Text-message delivery, where enabled |
| Apple / Google | Sign-in, and push notification delivery |
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a successor if the business is acquired — in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
7. Card details
Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe and are never transmitted through or stored on our servers. We can see the last four digits, card brand and expiry — nothing more.
8. Deleting your account and data
In the app: Settings → Delete account. You will be asked to confirm by typing your email address. This permanently deletes your account and the business records in it — clients, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos, time entries and signatures.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Export anything you need first.
You can also request deletion by writing to privacy@webnari.io from your account's email address; we will action it within 30 days.
A limited amount of information survives deletion where the law requires it — principally invoice and payment records that tax and accounting rules oblige us and Stripe to retain, and security logs. These are kept only as long as those obligations require and are not used for anything else. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule and purge deleted records within 30 days.
9. How long we keep information
While your account is open, we keep your data so the service works. If you close your account we delete it as described above. If an account is left unpaid and inactive, we may delete it after giving you notice at your account email address.
10. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, and data is encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it, behind multi-factor authentication. Photographs and documents are served through per-file capability links that we can revoke, rather than from public buckets.
No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you and any regulator the law requires, without undue delay. Report a suspected vulnerability to security@webnari.io.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California, and of other US states with comparable laws, additionally have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights — we do not degrade the service for anyone who does.
Exercise any of these by writing to privacy@webnari.io. We will verify your identity against your account before acting, and respond within the period the applicable law sets — 45 days in California, 30 days under the GDPR. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
If your request concerns data a FieldNari customer holds about you — because you were their customer — contact that business directly. They control that record; we only host it.
12. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers process data there. If you use FieldNari from outside the US, you are sending your information to the US, where privacy law differs from your own. Where transfers from the EU, UK or Switzerland require a legal mechanism, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
13. Children
FieldNari is business software sold to trade businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, write to privacy@webnari.io and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for material changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use FieldNari after that means you accept the revised policy.
